Shawyer & Sons Ltd are manufacturers of
high quality architectural wood veneered panels and
doors. We service a wide and varied market with customers
ranging from shopfitters, joinery manufacturers, interior
designers and bespoke furniture manufacturers all across
the U.K.
Location: H
Shawyer & Sons Ltd, based in Enfield North London,
are within easy reach of the M25 and only 800 yards away
from Ponders End main line railway which has direct links
to Liverpool Street and the Underground. We operate from
an 11,500 square foot facility with ample car parking.
The factory is equipped with modern machinery to manufacture
your veneered products.
Quality: The
majority of our veneering work is bespoke and low volume
where quality is of high importance. Much of our work
can be seen in offices, banks, hotels, shops, museums,
departments stores and even on trains where marquetry
patterns and veneer inlay lines are used.
History: Founded
in 1934 by Harold Shawyer, the business has remained
a family concern for over 70 years and is currently managed
by brothers Paul and David Shawyer. The company was originally
based in Stoke Newington , London, but after a fire in
1999 moved to Enfield. The secret of the companies success
has been its ability to maintain a personal touch with

Veneers: We
use a wide range of quality veneers from around the world.
Because each veneer is unique to a particular tree, grain
and colours will vary. Some of the veneers that we use
